WHAT ABOUT ME
Father, Traveller, dreamer, mentor
Ask me about anything and I will tell you facts, figures, stories and opinions.
Anyway here are some topics that I’m willing to disclose:
Flora : What do giant strawberries have to do with the ‘Phantom Menace’?
Sports and other demanding activities: How do you break a rib with a prehistoric distraction. “All the way up! Don’t look down!”.
Cars : Why the Mercedes S has dangerous front doors. “Car is too loud at 230km/h…”
Houses : Why large glass windows are enemies of pigeons.
People :“Let’s meet near to the child who is peeing.” From a 24/7 businessman to a life on a tropical beach. How to loose a friend, forever.
Fauna : How to escape a snake in Africa. How to escape a snake in Brazil. How to escape a snake. How to catch a snake. How to catch a scorpion. How to catch earwigs, does anyone know? Lion bite.
Life : Why Russian Cocaine is degrading. Lost in Amsterdam. Ronda Litoral has no toilets. “Puigcerda in the morning, Girona theather in the evening? Sure!“. Let the cook steal your plate.
NO JOB WILL DEFINE ME
NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO
Sometimes I wonder: what if I had chosen agriculture?
Would this decision have led me down different paths? Would dedicating my life to grapes, oranges, or apples have gotten me where I am no matter what?
I worked as a carpenter, electrician and teacher. Being a teacher almost defined me, but then I finished my degree in electrical engineering and computers and followed another path. I chose to create my own business dedicated to solutions for smart buildings. Apparently I chose electrical engineering and computer science above all else, although that doesn’t define me. Other apples and lately also some penguins, I believe it is what I do with my knowledge that will define me.
I will always remember that one day I was a carpenter and electrician,…
Sharing my knowledge is my true destiny and passion. That’s why my motto.
PS.: Traveling would definitely have to be part of any option.

SEA:ME
Software engineering in automotive and mobility systems
In Portugal, SEA:ME is settled in Porto, where innovative educators from Shaken not stirred have established a cutting-edge lab dedicated to advancing education in the mobility sector. Collaborating with leading companies in the field, this initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs by equipping students with the skills required for the rapidly evolving mobility labor market.
The first cohort of students will embark on this journey in November 2024, engaging with industry experts and working on groundbreaking projects for the future of mobility.

my path, my code, your asset
The 42 program was designed in Paris in 2013 and is constantly developing. Each student progresses by developing projects, earning points to pass the stage, as if it were a game. Dedicating around 40 hours a week to 42, students must complete the program in a period of between 12 and 18 months, after which they are expected to dive into their first professional experience.
Once this phase is complete, students will be able to apply for a 42 degree diploma. It is up to each individual after that to decide whether they want to deepen their knowledge by delving into one of the various areas of specialization available.
The project based and peer to peer methodology, as well as the professional experiences integrated into the curriculum, prioritize practical and team work, preparing students for the future.
